day 1

welcome to my first logged day of learning!

since this isn't my actual first day of starting my learning, i'll be logging from this point forward, every day.

as mentioned on the homepage, i'm currently learning web development, starting with frontend. my first few tries of learning this were a bit lackluster and lazy, where i lost focus and interest, but ever since last year, i have started, bit by bit, gaining more interest and knowledge about the subject, and all its possibilities.

~2 hours of learning today

• basic understanding of how events work in javascript, finalizing definitions and showcasing examples for:

  • change & input events
  • event bubbling & delegation

• creating a scorekeeper app

  • two player score tracking
  • dynamic winning score
  • game reset functionality
  • highlighting winner/loser
  • button disabling on game over
  • languages used: html, css, javascript

things to improve:

• improve study hours (6-8 hours)
• stay on point with schedule (notion calendar)
• avoid distractions (remove phone from desk, no social apps open on pc)
• eat properly (respect fasting schedule & eat proper food)
